Arsenal are set for another big transfer window next summer, but for that to happen the club will have to make some big sales ahead of the 2024/25 campaign. West Ham have held internal talks over signing one Arsenal star ahead of next season.

The Gunners spent over £200million on four new signings last summer and the club are expected to do something similar next summer to get even closer to treble winners, Manchester City.

Aaron Ramsdale, Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson and Emile Smith Rowe are four players who’s time at the club could be up at the end of the season in order to make way for new signings.

Arsenal and West Ham United have a recent working relationship following the record-breaking deal for Declan Rice last summer. The Gunners were locked in negotiations with the Hammers for over a month before agreeing a £105million deal to sign the England international ahead of this season.

It appears the two clubs could be set to do business again with West Ham United recently holding internal talks over the potential signing of Emile Smith Rowe.

West Ham tried to sign Smith Rowe on loan in January, but Mikel Arteta didn’t want the player to leave midway through the season with Arsenal in the midst of an intense title race.

Arsenal rejected that move, but the players’ situation is expected to be different come the summer with Smith Rowe’s first-team opportunities coming at a premium so far this season.

According Rudy Galetti, The player has already received several approaches from many English clubs. West Ham are among these, and the Hammers have already concretely shown their interest in Smith Rowe, so it’s not excluded that they could try again in the summer.

Internal talks on Smith Rowe at West Ham have been underway during recent weeks. Aston Villa have also shown an interest in the Gunners midfielder over recent months.

It’s expected Arsenal would want a fee of around £55million for the homegrown midfielder. The club will not let the player leave on the cheap with Mikel Arteta still a huge fan of Emile Smith Rowe, despite the lack of first-team opportunities this season.
