According to Italian Outlet La Repubblica, 25-year-old, Tammy Abraham is being monitored closely by both Arsenal and Man United. Despite a very promising 17-goal debut season at Roma last year, the ex-Chelsea man has netted just four goals in 21 Roma appearances this season and failed to make it into the England World Cup squad, meaning the English striker could be looking to move on in the summer.
Mikel Arteta is a big fan of Abraham backed up by the fact Arsenal were interested in him a couple of seasons ago before he went to Roma, as shown in the tweet below, and that interest hasn’t gone away.
Arsenal are very interested in Tammy Abraham & the player wants to join the Gunners despite interest from Roma & Atalanta.
Roma have had a bid accepted from Chelsea and are now awaiting the players decision.
Thoughts Gooners? Would Abraham be a good signing for Arsenal?🤔 #afc pic.twitter.com/yCZVoJOQak

Despite being an ex-Chelsea man, he has openly admitted to being a gunner in his youth, meaning personal negotiations likely wouldn’t be a problem.
Tammy Abraham is a more traditional number 9. Could he be just the man to lead Arsenal to a Premier League title? Looking forward, does he have the potential to be the perfect player for Arteta to use if there are moments in which we need something different off the bench? Could The Roma man have made the difference if he came off the bench against Newcastle, for example?
With an estimated value of an around £40-£50 million pounds, Tammy Abraham looks like a very solid option to keep an eye on.
