According to Mark Irwin of The Sun, Stan Kreonke has given Arsenal the go ahead to make a third bid for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.
Arsenal are confident they can convince Brighton into accepting a £75m deal for the Ecuadorian midfielder.
The £75m offer which is set to be submitted will be a transfer record for The Gunners.
The deal for Moises Caicedo will not effect any move for Declan Rice in the summer. Arsenal want both.
Arsenal have a good working relationship with the Seagulls after securing the signings of Ben White & Leandro Trossard and Arsenal remain confident they complete a third signing from Brighton in the last 24 hours of the January window.
It’s been well reported Arsenal have had two bids rejected so far this month for the 21-year-old, which were in the region of £65m & £70m. Despite the rejected bids, Arsenal aren’t going away and with the player desperate for the move to happen, Mikel Arteta seems to be confident he will get his man before the window slams shut tomorrow night.
