As per The Telegraph, Nottingham Forest have launched an £18 million move for Palmeiras midfielder Danilo..
According to Thiago Fernandes at Goal Brazil, Arsenal were reportedly back in for Danilo this month however they will now need to act on that interest if they want to get their man, after Forest make the first move.
It’s not just Premier League clubs interested in the Brazilian, with Atletico Madrid & Monaco also interested in the 21-year-old.
Palmeiras are aware of the interest from European clubs and are preparing for Danilo’s exit, however he will only be sold if his valuation is met.
Palmeiras rejected a £20m bid from Arsenal in the last transfer window. AC Milan also consulted the player at the time, but did not formalise an offer. At the time, President Leila Pereira warned that the Brazilian would not be sold at any cost, reason why Arsenal pulled out of negotiations. However in the current transfer window, the situation is different.
