As per The Telegraph, Nottingham Forest have agreed a £16million deal with Brazilian side, Palmeiras for midfielder Danilo.

According to Thiago Fernandes at Goal Brazil, Arsenal were reportedly back interested in Danilo this month however that interest didn’t materialise and Danilo will get the Premier League move he dreamed about, however to Nottingham Forest.

The 21-year-old rejected other European clubs, such as Monaco, in order to fulfil his dream and come to the Premier League. He will fly to England tomorrow to agree personal terms and finalise the move.

Palmeiras rejected a £20m bid from Arsenal in the last transfer window. AC Milan also consulted the player at the time, but did not formalise an offer. At the time, President Leila Pereira warned that the Brazilian would not be sold at any cost, reason why Arsenal pulled out of negotiations. However in the current transfer window, the situation is different & Nottingham Forest have first to act on that.
