Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard could be the key to the Gunners signing young exciting winger in the near future. According to reports, Arsenal are keeping a close eye on Club Brugge attacker, Antonio Nusa.

Antonio Nusa is an 18-year-old Norwegian talent who Martin Odegaard is already a huge fan of. The pair recently played together while on international duty with the Arsenal captain left seriously impressed with the youngster.

Martin Odegaard on Antonio Nusa: “He’s fantastic! He is an incredibly exciting player.

Arsenal are one of many clubs around Europe keeping a close eye on the player who’s considered one of the best young talents in the world at the moment. Premier League rivals, Chelsea also appear to be keen on signing the Norwegian in the near future.

The 18-year-old moved to Belgium to join Club Brugge in the summer of 2021 from Norwegian club Stabaek for a fee of around £2million. He’s become a key player for the Belgium side over the past year, playing 21 games in the league last season at just 17-years-old.

So far in 2023/24, Antonio Nusa has scored one goal and recorded one assist for Club Brugge in four appearances this season. He most operates from the left wing, however he can also play on the right and just behind the striker too. This will impress Mikel Arteta as he’s big fan of players who are can play in multiple positions on the pitch.

Hopefully Martin Odegaard could put in a good word about Arsenal to Nusa when they next meet up on international duty. The pair have already played together twice for Norway, with Nusa setting up Odegaard and Erling Haaland against Georgia on Tuesday.
