Highly sought-after forward Brian Brobbey has hinted at a potential move to Arsenal, citing the Gunners alongside Manchester United and Real Madrid as his preferred destinations for the next phase of his career.

Brobbey’s comments come amidst speculation surrounding the managerial position at Manchester United and his own future in the transfer market.

Throughout the 2023/24 season, Manchester United have experienced a rollercoaster ride of performances, oscillating between thrilling victories and disappointing defeats. While memorable wins against top teams like Liverpool in the FA Cup showcased their potential, shock losses to clubs like Bournemouth and heart-wrenching defeats, such as the one against Chelsea, have highlighted their inconsistency under manager Ten Hag.

Reports circulating within football circles suggest that Ten Hag’s tenure at Manchester United may be in jeopardy due to the team’s erratic form in the league. Speculation intensified further following Zinedine Zidane’s reported rejection of managerial offers from other top European clubs, potentially paving the way for him to replace Ten Hag at Old Trafford.

Against this backdrop, Brian Brobbey’s comments have added fuel to the transfer rumour mill. The talented Dutch striker, who has been linked with Manchester United since Ten Hag’s arrival, has now expressed interest in joining Arsenal, among other top clubs. In an interview, Brobbey’s statement, where he mentioned Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Manchester United as his dream destinations, has raised eyebrows among fans and pundits alike.

“I still want to achieve many great things in my career, such as playing for a very big football club,” Brobbey remarked in an interview. “Real Madrid is a beautiful club. Arsenal, Manchester United… How much am I worth? After the European Championships, €80m. Going to the European Championships is also a dream of mine.”

With Brobbey’s impressive goal-scoring record for Ajax this season – tallying 17 goals in 26 Eredivisie matches – both Manchester United and Arsenal have been closely monitoring his progress. Earlier in the season, United boss Ten Hag reportedly made an approach to lure Brobbey to Old Trafford, offering lucrative financial incentives. However, the striker opted to stay loyal to Ajax, where he has enjoyed significant success since breaking into the first team.

Brobbey’s emergence as a top talent has also attracted attention from the Dutch national team, where he faces competition from fellow striker Joshua Zirkzee, another reported target for both Arsenal and Manchester United.
