Kieran Tierney and north-east giants Newcastle United share a ‘bonded interest’ in each other, according to FootballInsider247.

Newcastle are monitoring Kieran Tierney’s situation at Arsenal with the Magpies main priority come the summer will be to sign a top left back.

The 25 year-old has expressed his interest in playing first team football, which he’s seen a lack of at Arsenal this season.

Arsenal has slotted the Scottish left back mostly on the bench this season after his knee surgery with new signing Oleksandr Zinchenko stepping in.

The Ukrainian has become a massive part of the way Mikel Arteta wants his team to play which has made Zinchenko undroppable and therefore presented limited minutes for Kieran Tierney so far this campaign.

With first team option Dan Burn already at left back, it would be interesting to see where Kieran Tierney would come and play. The Magpies are in talks with Burn about a new extension.

Burn, 30 years-old, may be counting down his days at Newcastle United, despite the contract extension. Tierney may be the option to step into the first team once the age increases of the current Magpie.

Tierney has seen the pitch 16 different times this season, but only has made 4 Premier League starts this season. He’s a player who’s desperate to play football week in, week out & with Newcastle interested in signing the Scotsman, Kieran Tierney could have a big decision on his hands come the summer transfer window.

The Arsenal fans love him. When the club was going through a difficult period a couple of years ago, he was the player that showed fight & desire on the pitch and that will never be forgotten.

Kieran Tierney has a £30million price tag on his head, and was bought from Celtic for £25million back in the Summer of 2019.

How much do you think Arsenal could get for the left back if they are to sell him come the end of the season?
