Italian giants Juventus have reportedly set their sights on Arsenal Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus as a potential summer transfer target, according to recent reports from Tutto Juve.

Despite Arsenal’s ongoing campaign and potential achievements this season, manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu Gaspar are expected to oversee a period of transition during the upcoming transfer window. The Gunners find themselves with a squad containing several players on the fringes of first-team action, prompting speculation about potential departures and arrivals.

While names like Eddie Nketiah, Aaron Ramsdale, and Emile Smith Rowe have been mentioned as possible candidates for a summer exit, it’s Gabriel Jesus who has caught the attention of Juventus. Tutto Juve’s report suggests that Arsenal may be open to selling the Brazilian striker due to perceived inconsistencies in his performances throughout the season.

The former Manchester City star has fallen behind Kai Havertz in the pecking order as Arsenal first-choice striker, with the German making the team look potent in front of goal. This has prompted suggestions that the Gunners may be open to offers for the 27-year-old.

Despite the suggestion that Arsenal might even consider loaning out Jesus, it appears unlikely that the Gunners would entertain such an idea, let alone a permanent departure. Jesus, who arrived at Arsenal as a seasoned professional, remains an integral part of Arteta’s plans and leadership group, despite facing challenges in front of goal this season.

While Juventus’ interest in Jesus is noteworthy, any potential transfer would likely require a substantial offer, given Jesus’s importance to Arsenal’s current setup. Even with the potential arrival of a new striker, Jesus is expected to maintain a significant role within the squad, both on the wing and centrally.

In the event of Juventus approaching Arsenal for Jesus’s services, it would undoubtedly take a considerable bid to persuade the Gunners to part ways with the versatile forward, who still holds a pivotal position in the club’s long-term project.
