
With Reiss Nelson’s Arsenal contract up at the end of the season, many clubs are interested in signing the Hale End product ahead of the summer transfer window.
Although Reiss Nelson wants to stay in North London and Arsenal have offered the player a new contract, no deal has been agreed yet which is creating interest from a lot of clubs around Europe.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Roma have made contact with the representatives of Reiss Nelson, with Jose Mourinho’s men one of the Serie A sides keen on signing the Arsenal youngster this summer.
Roma aren’t the only club keeping a close eye on the 23-year-old, with the likes of Aston Villa & Brighton also interested in signing the player this summer, if he is to leave Arsenal. Aston Villa manager, Unai Emery worked with Nelson during his time in North London as Arsenal boss so he knows the player well.
There are a number of other clubs around Europe keeping a close eye on the situation including Atalanta & French club, Rennes.

Although the player wants to stay at his boyhood club, if a new deal can’t be agreed then there is many options he will have to consider if he is to move on this summer.
A move to the Italian capital would see Nelson link up with Jose Mourinho. There have been a number of English players who have gone to Italy and proved to be real successes, including Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori and more.
Despite his lack of game time this season, when given the chance Reiss Nelson has delivered for Mikel Arteta this season. The winger scored twice and assisted once against Nottingham Forest earlier in the campaign, before scoring that late dramatic winner against Bournemouth more recently.
Mikel Arteta recently described Reiss Nelson as a “special” player with a huge amount of natural talent.
