Sky Sports Italy presenter Gianluca Di Marzio has confirmed that Arsenal have agreed a €25m + add on fees with Italian club Spezia for Polish defender Jakub Kiwior.
According to Di Marzio, the player will be flying into England to complete formalities over the weekend.
Kiwior has been a player in high demand in the January transfer window, with earlier reports that Borussia Dortmund had a bid rejected for the player with the likes of AC Milan, Juventus and West Ham United being linked with the player too.
However it seems that Arsenal have beaten them all to the signing of the 22-year-old, who has played 9 times for his country this year.
For those unfamiliar with the player, Kiwior is a centre back and seems to be a great squad option for Arteta in case of an injury or suspension to the backline.
