Marco Silva, the Fulham coach, has previously worked with the player in Portugal, and feels that the right-back would add experience and quality to a high-flying Fulham team.
Talks have been going on for the whole of the January transfer window but with hours to go, the two clubs have finally found breakthrough the player will now play his football at Craven Cottage for the remainder of the season.
Cedric has struggled for playing time this season and has fallen down the pecking order in the Arsenal ranks, as Ben White is the first choice right-back, and Takehiro Tomiyasu is the one providing competition.
Cedric came to Arsenal in 2020 after playing for 4 years at Southampton, he has made 59 appearances for Arsenal since arriving three years ago.
