Arsenal have had two bids rejected for Mykhailo Mudryk so far this month but negotiations continue with Shakhtar Donetsk as The Gunners are determined to get their man.
As per Fabrizio Romano: “Mykhailo Mudryk wants to join Arsenal. He is obsessed with Arsenal. There is a respect towards the player from Shakhtar and that’s why I think the Ukrainian club might accept less than €100m. Shakhtar and Arsenal are in direct contact, they speak almost every single day. This is why Arsenal have always been confident and optimistic. Mudryk wants Arsenal, Mudryk is really pushing to go to Arsenal.”
What do we know so far?
Mykhailo Mudryk is currently in Turkey at Shakhtar’s training camp, however he’s desperate to join Arsenal. The player has already agreed personal terms, he’s just waiting for the two clubs to agree on a fee.
As per Ben Jacobs yesterday, Arsenal and Shakhtar Donetsk could be getting close to sealing a full agreement for Mykhailo Mudryk. The guaranteed fee will be around €50m-€60m.
What happens now?
Arsenal’s main priority and only priority right now is the Ukrainian winger and they’re determined to get the deal done for around £60m as soon as possible. Negotiations continue and we await a breakthrough but as per many reports yesterday, the deal is getting closer…
