Arsenal’s technical director, Edu Gaspar flew to Poland last night to negotiate with Shakhtar’s board in order to seal the agreement for Mykhailo Mudryk, as per Tutto Mercasto.
Discussions will take place over the next few hours today in Poland to get the deal complete. After weeks of negotiating Arsenal’s latest bid of £62m + £20m worth of add-ons is the closest they’ve been to securing the Ukranian’s signature.
Shakhtar want to discuss the add-ons structure, reason why Edu has flown to Poland to get the deal done face-to-face. The add-ons will most likely be related to Arsenal qualifying for the Champions League & winning the Premier League this season.
Arsenal want to get the deal done as soon as possible, as does the player who is desperate to come to North London.
Personal terms have already been agreed and Arsenal want him in before the Manchester United game next week.
