Declan Rice seems to have dropped a transfer clue on his move to Arsenal from West Ham United.
Arsenal have broken their all-time transfer record after agreeing a deal to sign Declan Rice from West Ham for a fee of £105million. The deal will also be a record transfer for a British player once it’s completed which is expected to be very soon.
The 24-year-old passed his Arsenal medical at London Colney on Friday and is now currently in Portugal building up his fitness ahead of the new season.
The former West Ham captain will become Arsenal’s third signing of the summer, following Kai Havertz’ move from Chelsea for £65million and Jurrien Timber who is set to join from Ajax for £34.2million. The Dutch defender is expected to be announced as an Arsenal player tomorrow.

The transfer saga for Declan Rice has been an extremely long one with Arsenal beginning negotiations with West Ham nearly two months ago now. However the player has provided a little hint that the saga is set to come to an end very soon.
West Ham have recently removed Rice’s No. 41 shirt from the club website, which suggests the deal is all but done. The player has signed his contract and passed his medical so it seems all that remains is for Arsenal to announce the transfer.
Declan Rice posted a photo on Instagram on Tuesday evening which showed himself training alone in Adidas sportswear ahead of the new season. The location of the post was tagged as ‘The Campus’ which is a luxury sports complex in the Algarve in Portugal.
Arsenal academy graduates Alex Kirk and Charlie Patino were pictured training together at the very same complex earlier this month. Patino, who has returned from an impressive loan spell at Blackpool, also posted pictures of himself training on Instagram, tagging The Campus as his location.
It’s a little hint for the biggest transfer in the clubs history with Arsenal set to announce Declan Rice as a Gunner very soon.
