Chelsea have reportedly made an offer to sign young Arsenal star, Ethan Nwaneri this summer.
Ethan Nwaneri holds the record for being the youngest player to ever make a Premier League appearance at just 15 years and 181 days old. The midfielder set the record in the 3-0 victory against Brentford earlier last season.
Now Arsenal face a real battle to keep the talented youngster at the club with Premier League rivals, Chelsea and Manchester City doing everything they can to convince the 16-year-old to join them ahead of next season.
Ethan Nwaneri is still yet to sign a scholarship at Arsenal, despite Edu doing everything he can to try and convince him to stay at the club. The young England star is still yet to make a decision on his future with Chelsea now having tabled an offer to sign the player this summer, according to Felix Johnston.

Arsenal are set to have one of their busiest summer transfer windows in the clubs history with the aim next season to make even more progress on an outstanding 2022/23 campaign. With Champions League football back in North London for the first time in seven years next season, Arsenal will be able to attract the calibre of players needed to compete with the likes of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.
Many players are expected to come in, but also leave the Gunners this summer. Rob Holding, Granit Xhaka, Thomas Partey and Eddie Nketiah are all linked with moves away from the club according to reports, as well as young star Ethan Nwaneri.
Manchester City have also been targeting the 16-year-old, as well as Chelsea, and are increasingly confident they can land him, but Arsenal are desperate to stop it.
It is believed Arsenal are doing all they can to keep Nwaneri at the club with Jack Wilshere also trying to convince the player to stay at Arsenal, however City and Chelsea aren’t going away and the player will have to make a decision on his future very soon.
Nwaneri is, arguably, the most exciting young and upcoming player Arsenal have in their ranks and that is why the Gunners are desperate to tie the player down to a professional contract as soon as possible.
