According to reports, Arsenal have made their first signing of the summer window and it’s another young talent from Brazil.
It’s been well reported that the Gunners have the aim of getting their business done as early as possible this summer in order to give any new signings time to settle in ahead of next season, where Arsenal have the ambition to challenge for the Premier League once again.
After signing Gabriel Martinelli and Marquinhos from South America, Arsenal are heading back to Brazil to make their first signing of the summer.
According to Brazilian journalist, Craque Neto Pedro will move to North London to join Arsenal at the end of the season.
Pedro is a 17-year-old winger who is considered as a very promising talent from Brazilian side, Corinthians.
The Brazilian winger is considered as one of the brightest prospects in the country right now, with Corinthians open to selling the player this summer.
The fee for the player is currently not confirmed, although it’s expected the Brazilian club would demand somewhere between £15m-£20m.
Pedro is a versatile attacker who can play anywhere across the front three, which we know Mikel Arteta is a big fan of.
The player has represented Brazil at the U17 and U20 level.
