Speculation is rife about the potential departure of Arsenal star this summer, with reports strongly linking him to a move to Bayern Munich.

Bayern defender Alphonso Davies is heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid at the end of the season but was notably absent from the Bayern Munich starting lineup during their first-leg clash against the Spanish giants in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

He was expected to feature prominently, particularly amid ongoing speculation linking him with a transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu. Despite Real Madrid securing a 2-2 draw against Bayern, reports indicate that the Spanish club remains keen on acquiring the Canadian international’s services at the end of the season.

Numerous sources suggest that Real Madrid has already initiated talks with Davies, with rumours circulating that the player is nearing an agreement with Los Blancos.

In response, the Bundesliga giants are reportedly eyeing Oeksandr Zinchenko as a potential replacement for star left-back Alphonso Davies, who is rumoured to be heading to Real Madrid. While Arsenal are not eager to part with Zinchenko easily, they seem open to the possibility of his departure.

According to FootballTransfers, Bayern Munich view Zinchenko as a strong candidate to bolster their left-back position, with reports suggesting that Arsenal have set an asking price of €45 million for the Ukrainian international. This valuation reflects Zinchenko’s importance to the Arsenal squad and his contributions to their current Premier League title challenge.

In addition to Bayern Munich’s interest, Newcastle United are also rumoured to be monitoring Zinchenko’s situation. Valued at €45 million and under contract until 2026, Zinchenko’s future at Arsenal hangs in the balance as he enters the final two years of his current deal. The club faces a decision this summer: whether to offer him a new contract or cash in on his potential transfer.

While Zinchenko’s arrival at Arsenal in 2022 was hailed as a significant coup, his tenure at the club has been marred by injury problems and occasional lapses in concentration on the pitch, drawing criticism from some fans.

With Arsenal reportedly open to offers for Gabriel Jesus, who joined from Manchester City in the same summer as Zinchenko, it underscores the club’s growth over the past 24 months and their readiness to move on from players signed to elevate the team’s performance.
