Arsenal have reportedly expressed interest in signing young talented Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz.

Now.arsenal reported Arsenal’s interest in the young forward in December, but Turkish publication Aksam has recently confirmed that the Gunners are ready to invest £34 million to bring the 18-year-old forward to the Emirates Stadium. However, The Sun counters this by saying that Juventus are standing firm on their demand for a substantial £51 million fee for the promising young talent, leaving Arsenal with a crucial decision to make.

Kenan Yildiz, considered a prodigious talent with immense potential, has caught the attention of top clubs. His versatility as a forward, capable of playing as a second striker or on either wing, makes him an attractive prospect for Mikel Arteta’s side. If the deal materialises, Yildiz is expected to contribute goals and creativity to bolster the Arsenal attacking lineup.

Having already made appearances for Juventus’ first team this season and netting five goals across various competitions since moving to Italian from German champions Bayern Munich last summer, Yildiz is proving his worth at a young age.

With Turkey’s Under-19s manager Soykan Baskar drawing comparisons to Cristiano Ronaldo, citing Yildiz’s superior technique with the ball, the 18-year-old’s potential has not gone unnoticed.

He said: “Two years ago many big clubs were interested in him. Yildiz is more talented than Cristiano Ronaldo. His technique with the ball is superior to that of Portuguese.”

While Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri gushed over the teenager’s talent during a press conference in October. He said: “In my opinion, he becomes a wonderful player, stopping the ball as he stops.”

Mikel Arteta is keen to strengthen the squad’s attacking options, aiming for more depth to compete for major trophies. The lack of rotation for key players like Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli due to positional shortages has further outline the need for reinforcements.

While Yildiz’s reported price tag of £51 million showcases Juventus’ confidence in the young talent, Arsenal may be hesitant to meet such demands for an unproven player at the highest level. However, the Gunners possess the financial capability to make the deal happen, but negotiations may be key in convincing Juventus to reconsider their valuation.
