Arsenal are contemplating a summer move for Inter Milan full-back Denzel Dumfries, according to Football Insider.
Mikel Arteta is reportedly keeping tabs on the Dutch international as he seeks a natural right back, with Champions League football all but secured for Arsenal in 2023/24.
Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea are also said to be interested.
Alongside many Italian sides, Inter are struggling financially. According to the report, this may result in Dumfries being sold for a lower fee than Inter anticipated; with a price range of £40-50 million quoted.

Dumfries has started 23 games for Inter this campaign; including starts in the Champions League against Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona. The defender has been a regular starter for Inter since transferring to Milan from PSV in summer 2021; already featuring in 76 games, recording 7 goals and 13 assists in the process.
When playing for Inter, Dumfries has largely operated as a wing-back in Inter manager Simone Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 system.
Dumfries, 26, is already experienced at international level; recording 42 caps for the Netherlands since his debut in 2018. The Dutch international played every available minute during the World Cup 2022; until the Netherlands would be knocked out by eventual winners Argentina on penalties.
Arsenal’s current options at right-back include Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu; both whom frequently operate at centre-back. Dumfries would provide a more attacking alternative at Mikel Arteta’s disposal.
With an important summer window pending for Arsenal, Dumfries may potentially be one of a number of arrivals in 2023.
