Arsenal are actively working on a proposal for the highly coveted Brazilian midfielder, Ederson, who is currently shining at Atalanta. The midfielder’s exceptional performances have attracted interest from numerous clubs, including Premier League teams Manchester United, Liverpool, and Newcastle United, as well as French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain.

Reports from GOAL indicate that the former Cruzeiro, Corinthians, and Fortaleza midfielder, who continues to make waves in Serie A with Atalanta, is open to taking a significant step in his career.

The former Salernitana star is enjoying a standout season in Italian football and is open to offers that meet Atalanta’s expectations. With 56 matches played, the midfielder has showcased his prowess by scoring 12 goals and providing two assists during the current season with Atalanta.

Arsenal have sought information about Ederson’s current situation and are reportedly ready to submit a proposal for his signature. Although Atalanta will reportedly reject any offers for the midfielder, they are already preparing for life without him in the summer.

His former head coach at Corinthians, Tiago Nunes, describes the midfielder as a box-to-box player who is all-action in his style.

Nunes tells Sky Sports, “He is a box-to-box player with the energy to keep going back and forth all the time. My first impressions were of a player with a lot of strength, a lot of physical ability, a player who was a powerful striker on the ball, with good technique. Basically, someone with characteristics that are difficult to find, especially in Brazilian football.”

The Brazilian midfielder is open to considering offers to depart Atalanta, provided the terms align with the expectations of the Italian club. While formal proposals to secure the player’s transfer from the Atleti Azzurri d’Italia Stadium have not been submitted, Arsenal is poised to present an offer for the player next summer.
