Arsenal have reportedly set their asking price for Oleksandr Zinchenko. The Ukrainian international, known for his versatility across defence and midfield, has attracted interest from clubs both domestically and abroad, according to a recent report from Fichajes.

Zinchenko, 27, has showcased his adaptability by excelling at left-back, left wing-back, and central midfield, making him an appealing option for clubs seeking to strengthen their squad depth.

Emerging as a summer target for Newcastle United and Bayern Munich, Arsenal are said to be demanding £39 million for the full-back, who has two years remaining on his contract.

With Mikel Arteta having already deployed other players in Zinchenko’s position this season, such as Takehiro Tomyasu and Jakub Kiworr, the summer could prove pivotal for the Ukrainian’s future at the club.

Newcastle United, in particular, are in dire need of a top-quality left-back, while Bayern Munich are preparing for life without Alphonso Davies, potentially opening the door for Zinchenko to assume a more significant role elsewhere.

However, whether either club will formalise their interest with a bid is yet to be seen. Since joining Arsenal from Manchester City in 2022, Zinchenko, who boasts 60 international caps, has contributed two goals and four assists in 67 appearances across all competitions.

In a recent revelation, Zinchenko disclosed his emotional attachment to Arsenal, citing his participation in the pre-match ritual of singing ‘North London Forever’ at the Emirates Stadium.

The anthem, introduced during the Mikel Arteta era in April 2022, has become an integral part of the club’s identity, resonating deeply with fans, players, and celebrities associated with Arsenal.

Zinchenko expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from Arsenal’s fanbase, acknowledging their key role as the team’s “12th player” during challenging moments on the pitch.

Having swiftly established himself as a key figure since his arrival from Manchester City, Zinchenko’s adaptability and leadership qualities have endeared him to the Arsenal faithful, further cementing his status as a linchpin in Arteta’s plans.
