The Gunners have previously been linked with a move for Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey. Arsenal have seen one bid rejected for the player already, with Brighton now leading the race for the Frenchman.
It now appears Arsenal have turned their attention elsewhere with German newspaper BILD stating that Arsenal have made a ‘lucrative offer’ to Ivan Fresneda in a bid to beat competition from German side Borussia Dortmund in their pursuit of the player.
Fresneda has been linked with Arsenal since the January transfer window when it was reported that Arsenal were going to pay the release clause to sign the youngster from Real Valladolid. However, the signing didn’t materialise and Fresneda stayed in Spain with the La Liga club.
