Arsenal continue their upward trajectory this season, securing a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals while remaining contenders for the Premier League title.

Under Mikel Arteta’s leadership since 2019, the Gunners have undergone a remarkable transformation, establishing themselves as one of the country’s top teams once more.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Arsenal are ready to further bolster their squad, with midfield and attack identified as key areas for reinforcement by Edu and Arteta.

Amidst uncertainties surrounding the futures of midfielders Thomas Partey, Fabio Vieira, and Albert Sambi Lokonga, there is a pressing need for additional cover on the flanks, particularly for Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

The 25-year-old winger, valued at over £60 million by Palace, has drawn praise from Highbury legend Martin Keown, who highlighted Eze’s readiness to make the leap to a higher level.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Keown lauded Eze’s abilities, suggesting that it might be challenging for Crystal Palace to retain the talents of both Eze and Michael Olise. Known for his versatility, Eze has demonstrated his prowess across various positions on the pitch, making him an enticing prospect for potential suitors.

Keown said: “I watched him really closely, was on the pitch when he played against Arsenal earlier this season, and he looks to me now he is ready to go.

“Palace fans won’t enjoy me saying it, but he just looks now at another level. I think it’s going to be difficult for them to hold onto those two players (Eze and Michael Olise).”

With Eze’s potential to elevate Arsenal’s game to new heights, the Gunners are closely monitoring his situation as negotiations loom.
