
According to recent reports, Arsenal are said to be keeping tabs on French winger, Moussa Diaby however the Gunners face competition from PSG and Newcastle for the players’ signature.
The Gunners are believed to be leading the race for the Bundesliga star ahead of a move in the summer transfer window, however PSG are also said to be keen on signing the Frenchman.
Moussa Diaby joined Bayer Leverkusen four years ago for a fee of £13.2million however if he is to leave the German side at the end of the season, he’s expected to be sold for more than quadruple what he was brought for back in 2019.
The French winger has scored 13 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions this season for Leverkusen and is having his best goal-scoring season yet at just 23-years-old.
As per SportBILD, Diaby’s exit this summer has been discussed within the club’s hierarchy, who are looking to receive a bumper fee for the in-demand France international, which could rise to over £50million.
Diaby has been coy about his preferred destination next season, but spoke about his good fortune in attracting the interest of big name clubs.
“It’s fun when many clubs are interested in you, but I’m concentrating on my season in Leverkusen. It is important to me to make progress.”
Arsenal were interested in the Frenchman during the January transfer window, however Leverkusen said the player wasn’t for sale and the Gunners chose to sign Leandro Trossard instead. However the players availability is expected to change come the end of the season.
