Over the last few days after missing out on Mykhalo Mudryk, Arsenal has been exploring every inch of the market to find a new wide-man who’d strengthen the current squad depth.
Another name added to a long list of wingers is Villereal’s, Yeremy Pino. A man who has had comparisons to former Arsenal player, Alexis Sanchez. A big name to live up to for the Spanish 20-year-old.
The Las-Palmas-born, up-and-coming talent is rated highly at the Yellow Submarines, accumulating a transfer value of €38m according to TransferMarkt, which is just a fraction of what Chelsea paid for Mudryk.

Ryan Taylor of the Daily Express is the man who broke the news of Arsenal’s interest in the winger saying:
‘Arsenal have scouted Yeremy Pino as they consider alternative targets after missing out on Mykhalo Mudryk.’
Despite he’s transfer value according to TransferMarkt, Fabrizio Romano suggested over the last summer that he would cost nearer to £42m, which is still cheaper than some other options listed.
CAA stellar is the agency of Yemermy Pino, having the same agency as Jack Grealish for example who went to City for near enough £100m from Aston Villa, which could make his price go up significantly.
So far the Spanish winger has only scored two goals in 16 appearances for the Yellow Submarines, only playing 59% of the minutes, but his talent is undoubtedly there. Especially after a record he set at 19 where he made a four-goal haul against Espanyol, making him the youngest player to score a first-half hattrick in La Liga.
The rampant display isn’t the only record the baller has under his spell, he is also the youngest player Villereal have ever had playing for Spain after Luis Enrique granted him a start back in October 2021 in a 2-1 victory against Italy in the Nations League Semi-final.
He’s known to make a fool of the oppositional players and is someone who doesn’t shy away from receiving the ball in tight and congested positions. Bravery is his most sufficient speciality.

He is also very versatile across the attacking lines making It easier for Arteta to place him into the competitive squad, being 20 as well gives him time to make a great name for himself.
He has a remarkable finishing ability which he showcased against Espanyol, with movement and conviction that is well ahead of his age.
Playing two years of top-flight football after replacing ex-Arsenal midfielder Coquelin in 2020, he has proved his shooting ability at nine goals from an xG of 7.41, scoring one goal per five shots at the net, a rate at 22.5% which exceeds Balon d’Or winner, Karim Benzema at 20.5%.
The conversion rate is not too far from serial scorer and teammate Gerard Merano, who’s proved himself as a top scorer in most European competitions.
Only recently did Yeremy Pino score in a game that Benzema scored in, after a 2-1 win against La Casa Blanca, allowing Villereal to reach 5th in the table, just 10 points behind the giants who are in second.
The man compared to Alexis Sanchez would be available for considerably less than Moussa Diaby with his huge price tag of near to €100, and would even be a cheaper alternative than Atletic Club’s Nico Williams, so that said, would Yeremy Pino be the most intelligent choice to add that needed squad depth for Arteta’s squad.
