A frenzy has ensued on social media over the last few days, with many Arsenal fans saying the same thing about one out-of-favour England star.

Marcus Rashford has been under heavy criticism for much of this season, as Manchester United fans lambast his perceived poor performances, but Arsenal fans have suggested that the Gunners could offer him a lifeline.

Many fans on social media have expressed their desire to see Rashford wear Arsenal’s famous red and white, in a transfer that would certainly cause a shock in the footballing world.

It has been reported by David McDonnell that Manchester United will be willing to sell Rashford, for the right price, this summer – which presents an intriguing option to Arsenal.

The Gunners have already seemingly revived the career of Kai Havertz, who is enjoying an excellent debut season in North London, and fans are asking for Mikel Arteta to “work his magic again.”

The Red Devils had previously quoted a price of roughly £100m for the services of the 26-year-old, but as his situation with the club continues to deteriorate, as it is currently, the price is likely to fall, possibly drastically.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal hold any genuine interest in the England international, or is fans are the sole driving factor behind current media talk – but there is every reason to believe Rashford would be at least receptive to such a move.

Rashford has expressed his own fury at his recent critics, whom he insists have gone too far, stating on X (formerly Twitter): “I appreciate your support! It is abuse and has been for months. Enough is enough.”
