Recent reports indicate that Arsenal faces keen competition in its pursuit of the 25-year-old star dubbed Dominik Szoboszlai’s clone.

Brighton & Hove Albion is gearing up for a summer bid to secure Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, setting the stage for a transfer battle with Arsenal and Liverpool.

The Seagulls, previously linked with Dewsbury-Hall during the January transfer window, are keen to bolster their squad depth, with manager Roberto De Zerbi eyeing the midfielder as an ideal addition.

Despite interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, who have both extensively scouted Dewsbury-Hall, Brighton seems determined to reignite their pursuit of the 25-year-old once the current season concludes.

Dewsbury-Hall’s standout performance against Chelsea in Leicester’s FA Cup clash showcased his Premier League caliber, drawing comparisons to Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai. Data analytics experts SciSports have highlighted a striking 95% similarity between the two players, particularly in their impressive ball-carrying abilities.

With Dewsbury-Hall’s contract expiring soon and his impressive track record of 23 goals and assists in 41 games this season, the midfielder is primed for a move to a bigger club.

Arsenal, in particular, sees him as a potential replacement for Granit Xhaka and Emile Smith Rowe, who may depart in the upcoming transfer window.

Pundit Martin Keown expressed confidence that the 25-year-old midfielder would secure a move to the Premier League next season, regardless of whether Leicester achieves promotion.

“10 goals this season, I think again with [Wilfried] Ndidi in the team I think he’ll play slightly higher today,” Keown remarked. “He’s really coming on and trending well, he’s definitely going to be playing in the Premier League next season whether his team do or not.”

During the game, Keown continued to praise Dewsbury-Hall, highlighting his dynamic play and urging for more support from his teammates in the attacking phase. “Dewsbury-Hall is just looking and saying, ‘look, I just ran 30 yards, any danger of you getting to the far post?’ Outstanding Dewsbury-Hall there.”

As the race for Dewsbury-Hall’s signature heats up, Brighton’s determination to secure his services adds another layer of competition for Arsenal and Liverpool. The summer transfer window promises to be an intriguing battle for one of the most sought-after midfield talents in English football.
