Barcelona-based outlet La Vanguardia (via SportWitness) report that Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are among the teams interested in Barcelona winger, Ansu Fati.
Arsenal have contacted the agent of Ansu Fati in order to enquire about a potential summer move for the 20-year-old. His camp aren’t ruling out an exit come the end of the season if his situation in the team doesn’t improve.
No clubs have yet made a firm offer for the player, however many clubs around Europe are considering one due to Barcelona’s unstable economic conditions.
Fati’s camp are reportedly leaving the door open to a summer transfer, even though it’s currently his intention to continue with Barcelona. This follows further reports from the last week suggesting Arsenal were in the mix for Fati along with Bayern Munich and Spurs.
The player has a contract until 2027 and a transfer will only be possible if Barcelona are open to one.
Fati has made 31 appearances for Barcelona this season, scoring six goals and assisting three. But just nine of those appearances were starts, with the winger making the lineup in La Liga less than half the time. So whilst he hasn’t missed a single club game in all competitions this season, the 20-year-old will still feel frustrated at his minutes.
If Barcelona aren’t going to use him more regularly, they might consider cashing in this summer.
