Arsenal are expected to have a busy summer in the transfer window as the club hopes to add more depth and quality to the squad. Mikel Arteta has found a way to make his team potent in front of goal that still brings concerns to many.

While Kai Havertz has admirably taken on the centre forward role for Arsenal in recent weeks, speculation persists regarding the signing of a new number nine to bolster their attacking lineup.

Amidst these deliberations, there are indications that Gabriel Jesus could potentially be offloaded or used as a winger at both flanks as manager Mikel Arteta prepares to make significant decisions once again.

Numerous strikers have been linked with a potential move to the Gunners, with Alexander Isak and Joshua Zirkzee emerging as a prime target by several reports. However, attention also gravitates towards Serie A, where Dusan Vlahovic has captured the interest of the North London club.

According to GiveMeSport, Vlahovic may be available at a bargain price, potentially costing Arsenal a mere £55 million. This figure represents a significant reduction from the speculated £70 million valuation that circulated in late 2023, indicating a possible opportunity for Arsenal to secure the talented striker at a more favourable rate.

The renewed interest in Vlahovic signifies a shift in dynamics for Arsenal, who previously pursued the Serbian striker before his transfer to Juventus. With uncertainties surrounding Vlahovic’s future at the Turin-based club, Arsenal are in a position to reignite negotiations for his services.

Arteta’s emphasis on evolution and continuous improvement shows the importance of bringing in players who can introduce new dimensions to the team’s playing style. Vlahovic’s attributes, characterised by power and agility in attack, present Arsenal with a much-needed focal point in their offensive strategy.

Should a deal materialise at the speculated £55 million valuation, it presents an opportunity the Gunners cannot afford to overlook, offering the club a chance to address a longstanding need within their squad.
