Arsenal have reportedly contacted Roma over the signing of winger Nicolo Zaniolo in January.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma have decided to sell the player this month and are looking for around £40m.
Arsenal were first linked with Zaniolo four years ago when Unai Emery and Raul Sanllehi made contact with the player’s agent about a loan in the summer of 2019 when he was still only 19.
The Italian has played 13 times in the Serie A for Roma this season, scoring 1 goal.
Zaniolo’s current contract expires next summer with Roma valuing him at between €30m and €40m and they have no interest in any sort of loan deal, unless it comes with an obligation to buy.
