Many Arsenal players are attracting interest during the transfer window. Eddie Nketiah is wanted by Crystal Palace, although Mikel Arteta is reluctant to let the striker leave this month.

Reiss Nelson is subject of interest from many Premier League clubs, including West Ham and Wolves while Aston Villa have recently enquired about the availability of Emile Smith Rowe.

However it’s Aaron Ramsdale who Arsenal are expecting to receive offers for over the next couple of weeks. The goalkeeper has endured a difficult season so far under Mikel Arteta, losing his number one shirt to new signing David Raya back in September.

Since then Ramsdale has been restricted to appearances in the Carabao Cup & FA Cup while making his Champions League debut in the final group stage of the competition. The only Premier League game the 25-year-old has played since losing his spot was against Brentford as Raya was ineligible to play against his parent club.

Journalist, Dean Jones has been speaking on Aaron Ramsdale’s situation this week, stating Arsenal are ready for offers to come in for Ramsdale.

Dean Jones on Aaron Ramsdale: “As it stands Arsenal haven’t actually had any offers made for Aaron Ramsdale, but I know they are bracing themselves for some interest around him as we get towards the last couple of weeks.

“All it takes is an injury for a big club’s goalkeeper, that’s the first door you knock on isn’t it if your goalkeeper is injured you’d go to Arsenal and say you want Aaron Ramsdale until the end of the season,”

There’s no doubt Aaron Ramsdale would start for the majority of Premier League clubs and with the Euros just around the corner, the England International needs to be playing football.

However Mikel Arteta has reiterated plenty of times over the last month that Ramsdale isn’t for sale and the keeper will remain in North London until next summer at the earliest.
