Arsenal academy star Kido Taylor-Hart has announced his departure from the club this summer, marking the end of a remarkable 13-year journey with the Gunners. Despite his long tenure within the Arsenal ranks, the 21-year-old winger never managed to break into the senior squad, leaving without a single appearance at that level.

Taylor-Hart, who emerged from Arsenal’s youth system, embarked on loan spells to gain experience. Last season saw him don the jersey for Derby County’s under-21 team, followed by a stint at Bromley in the National League this year.

While Bromley celebrated their historic promotion to the Football League, Taylor-Hart’s contributions were limited, featuring in just nine league matches and netting one goal during his loan tenure.

Now, the winger stands at a crossroads in his career, seeking a permanent move to a new club for the first time. Expressing gratitude and nostalgia, Taylor-Hart took to Instagram to bid farewell, acknowledging the instrumental role Arsenal played in his development from adolescence to adulthood.

“The club has quite literally seen me grow up and go from a boy to a man ❤️ saying that it’s time to move on and I’m excited for what the future of my career holds,” Taylor-Hart shared in his social media post, encapsulating the bittersweet nature of his departure.

Taylor-Hart is among young talents from the academy who are leaving the club at the end of this in search of first-team football. Highly-rated defender Reuell Walters is also set to leave the club this summer after rejecting a contract extension offer.

Another young talent who is also linked with a move away from the club is exciting winger Amario Cozier-Duberry who has been linked with a move to Newcastle United in the summer. Despite the links to the Magpies, Arsenal remain optimistic about tying the young forward, who has been compared to Bukayo Saka to a new contract.
