Following a challenging stint marred by injuries at RKC Waalwijk last season, Mika Biereth has undergone a remarkable resurgence while on loan at Motherwell this term, showcasing a remarkable scoring streak.

The Arsenal loanee has demonstrated his talent with an impressive tally of six goals in 14 league appearances for Motherwell. Additionally, his contribution extends beyond scoring, as he has notched up five assists, including a pivotal role in the recent 2-2 draw against Hibernian, where he provided two assists.

Biereth’s potential had been evident since his arrival at the club in 2021, and now, in the senior football arena, he’s making a substantial impact. While the prospect of impressing for Arsenal in the long run remains uncertain, the Denmark youth international appears well-equipped to flourish elsewhere, potentially crafting a promising career for himself.

Aged 20, Biereth boasts intelligent movement and an impeccable finishing ability, qualities that would undoubtedly attract a myriad of potential suitors should Arsenal opt to sell him.

Arsenal finds themselves in no immediate rush to make a decision regarding Biereth’s future. Another loan spell post-Motherwell may emerge as the most viable option for his continued development.

The unfolding scenario promises intrigue, yet one undeniable fact is Biereth’s commendable progress and unwavering dedication to contributing extensively to his team’s cause.

Biereth’s loan move to Scottish Premiership outfit Motherwell materialised during the summer. His journey began in July 2021 when he joined Arsenal from Fulham, swiftly making an impact in the academy setup.

In the 2021/2022 season, Biereth featured in 26 appearances across competitions for Arsenal U-23s, registering an impressive tally of 12 goals and five assists. His form earned him four appearances in the matchday squads of Arsenal’s first team across the Premier League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup fixtures.

Venturing on loan to Eredivisie side RKC Waalwijk last season, Mika Biereth showcased glimpses of his potential with 13 appearances and two goals for the Dutch outfit.
