As we reported previously, Thomas Partey has been called up by Ghana for the upcoming international break. Ghana will face Angola in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier and there’s no doubt Partey will be one of the first names on the team sheet for the Black Stars later this month.

However, Arsenal’s Brazilian’s will be staying at London Colney later this month as all three of Gabriel, Gabriel Martinelli & Gabriel Jesus have not been called up Brazil.

Two more Arsenal players have been called up today to represent countries at the end of March…

Firstly, Kieran Tierney has been called up by Scotland for their upcoming Euro 2024 qualifies against Cyprus & Spain.

The Scottish left-back has mainly been a back-up option to new summer signing, Oleksandr Zinchenko so far this season. Therefore unlike last year when every Arsenal fan was constantly worried about the Scotsman’s fitness, that is no longer the case.

The next player to be called up for the upcoming international break is Arsenal’s captain, Martin Odegaard where Norway will face Spain & Georgia in their European qualifies.

Arsenal’s captain has been a huge part of the teams success this season, scoring ten goals & getting six assists in 26 Premier League appearances. The Norwegian has started all but one of the club’s Premier League games so far this campaign.

Arsenal fans will be praying their Norwegian maestro comes back safe and sound as the Gunners look to win their first Premier League title in 19 years once club football resumes after the international break.

Arsenal’s first game back after the International break is Leeds at home on the 1st April, followed by a difficult trip to Anfield the following Sunday.
