Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold has predicted the outcome of the Premier League title race between Arsenal and Manchester City, following a crucial win against Fulham.

Liverpool secured a 3-1 victory at Craven Cottage to climb above Manchester City in the standings, putting them level on points with Arsenal at the top of the table.

The win came after a tough few weeks for Jurgen Klopp’s side, with disappointing results in both the Europa League and the Premier League. However, their victory against Fulham brought them back into contention for the title, with only five games remaining in the season.

In a post-match interview, Trent Alexander-Arnold emphasised the importance of winning all five remaining matches to keep their title hopes alive.

When asked about the chances of Arsenal or Manchester City dropping points in the race, Alexander-Arnold replied, “In our minds, they won’t drop points. We need to be in a position similar to last week… If anyone drops points, we need to be in the best position we can. Five out of five wins is the aim for us.”

The victory against Fulham was a crucial one for Liverpool, as they now find themselves level on points with Arsenal, only behind on goal difference. With Manchester City hot on their heels, the title race promises to be a thrilling one, with all three teams vying for the top spot.

Looking ahead to the midweek fixtures, Arsenal face a tough challenge against in-form Chelsea, while Liverpool have a Merseyside derby to look forward to. Meanwhile, Manchester City will be travelling to face Brighton, in what promises to be a difficult away game for Pep Guardiola’s side.

The race for the title is heating up, and with Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City all in contention, the final few weeks of the season promise to be intense and exciting. The battle for the Premier League crown is far from over, and Arsenal will be hoping to continue winning to put pressure on their title rivals.
