After Bukayo Saka committed his long-term future to Arsenal a couple of weeks ago, here is the latest on a couple more players the club are trying to tie down to new deals ahead of next season.
Bukayo Saka recently committed his long-term future to the Gunners, following in the footsteps of Aaron Ramsdale, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel who have all also signed new contracts during 2022/23. Arsenal aren’t done there though with Reiss Nelson, Martin Odegaard and William Saliba also expected to sign new long-term contracts very soon.

The Frenchman’s current deal expires at the end of the next season with Mikel Arteta keen to tie his future down to Arsenal as soon as possible and now it finally looks like it’s going to get done.

Martin Odegaard’s contract situation is expected to be a simple one with the player extremely happy in London and at Arsenal and wants to continue playing under Mikel Arteta for the foreseeable future.
Mikel Arteta speaking on more contract extensions after the last game of the season again Wolves: “We are working on a few more. We have gone through the season and we have tied down a very important part of the team and that’s what we wanted to do. This never stops, they keep evolving and developing.”
Edu and his team deserve a lot of credit for how they’ve gone about securing the futures of key players at the club. Keeping this young group together is just as important as any new signings made this summer. Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba, Aaron Ramsdale and Gabriel all signing new long-term contracts is a great sign of the progress being made at Arsenal.
