A supercomputer has predicted who will win the Premier League title this season ahead of Arsenal’s crucial clash with Manchester City on Wednesday night.

Arsenal currently sit five points ahead of Manchester City going into Wednesday’s massive title decider at the Etihad Stadium, however Pep Guardiola’s side have two games in hand on the Gunners.

The Premier League is still in Arsenal’s hands, just… however Mikel Arteta’s side have to go to the Etihad and win if they want to stay in control going into May.

The Gunners haven’t won at the Etihad since 2015.

Can Arsenal lift the Premier League trophy and end their 19 year drought or will Manchester City make it five Premier League titles in six years?

After Arenal’s recent results which have handed Manchester City the initiative in the title race, many across the globe believe the Gunners have let their title chances slip with six games left to go.

BettingExpert has predicted who will come out on top in the nail-biting Premier League title race between Arsenal and City. The data machine used pre-season expectations, results and xG to predict the full Premier League table after simulating the remainder of the season 100,000 times.

According to the supercomputer, Arsenal will have to settle for second place as City will retain the Premier League crown this season.

The Premier League top four is as follows…

4. Newcastle United: 72.5 points (Champions League qualification)

3. Manchester United: 72.9 points (Champions League qualification)

2. Arsenal: 85.3 points (Champions League qualification)

1. Manchester City: 86.6 points (Premier League champions)

After leading the Premier League for the majority of the season, finishing second will be a big disappointment for the Arsenal players and fans, if the supercomputer is indeed proved right come the end of the season.

A disappointment but still an extremely good season for a team who was expected to find it difficult to break into the top four this campaign. However this ends, Arsenal have definitely exceeded most peoples expectations, that’s for sure.
