Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke has added a $81.5million investment to his ever-growing list of franchises ahead of the summer transfer window.
Stan Kroenke became the majority shareholder of Arsenal Football Club in 2011. Following that in 2018, Stan Kroenke became the full owner of the Gunners after buying the remaining shares off of Alisher Usmanov for a reported £600million.
Since gaining full control of the club, Stan Kroenke along with his son, Josh Kroenke are slowly proving they have what it takes to get Arsenal back to the top. It’s been a slow process, but since appointing Mikel Arteta in December 2019, the club haven’t looked back.
Arsenal are set to have one of the biggest transfer windows in the clubs history this summer, with Stan Kroenke set to invest more money in order for the Gunners to put together an even stronger title challenge next season. However that hasn’t stopped Stan Kroenke investing elsewhere.

Stan Kroenke has a current net worth of $12.9bn according to recent reports released in 2023 and that is set to rise after his recent purchase, which can only be beneficial to Arsenal.
The Arsenal owner has recently completed the purchase of Malibu Village for $81.5million, according to reports. Malibu Village is a shopping centre, located on the Pacific Coast Highway in the area of Malibu, California. The Gunners owner already owns property in the region, with the Malibu Colony Plaza amongst many under his ownership.
According to The Real Deal, Kroenke has successfully bought the 51,000-square-foot shopping centre. The purchase means he has now spent over $700m on retail real estate across the Los Angeles market after buying an outdoor shopping mall in Woodland Hills and a defunct indoor mall.
Kroenke controls the Gunners as part of his superior sports empire, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, which also owns a number of teams around the globe, including NBA side Denver Nuggets and NFL team Los Angeles Rams.
Both teams have had success recently and I’m sure Stan Kroenke is hoping Arsenal follow very soon.
