Arsenal trained for the first time since their victory at Villa Park on the weekend, however six first-team players seem to be missing from the squad that took part in the session at London Colney this morning.

Gabriel Jesus still hasn’t returned to full first-team training, however he is back out on the pitch and doing work the ball as he continues to progress from the knee injury that has kept him out for the past three months.

Thomas Partey also wasn’t seen in training this morning and according to Mikel Arteta before the game against Aston Villa, Arsenal’s number five needs one more week in order to get back on the pitch.

For the rest of the players listed below, it’s likely they’re doing gym work/recovery session after the hard work they put in on the weekend.

Arsenal’s next match isn’t until Saturday so with a whole week to prepare for their next game, we will most likely see Saka, Zinchenko, Jorginho & Nketiah back in training later this week ahead of the game against Leicester City this weekend.
