Reece Witherspoon, who has appeared in movies such as Legally Blonde, Cruel Intentions and Sweet Home Alabama has announced on the BBC program, The One Show, that she wouldn’t mind making an investment into Arsenal FC to own a proportion of the club.

The woman with an estimated net worth of $400 million has admitted that her whole family are Arsenal fans and that she wouldn’t mind investing in the club:

“If there’s space In Arsenal, all my science, ‘EVERYBODY’ would be really, really excited. Because that’s our home team, I watched the game the other day, it was bananas, that’s our team.”

Despite her saying it in more of a joking manner due to her net worth being 10x less than Chelsea’s owner Todd Boehly, Arsenal’s attraction is clear and is attracting the likes of Hollywood stars. Reese Witherspoon wouldn’t be a candidate to take over the club as the owner, but only to own a small percentage of the club, unlike when the CEO of Spotify (Daniel Ek) tried to buy the club out of Stan Kroenke’s hands (back in 2021) despite the American’s net-worth being double of Daniel Eks.

Because of the fantastic work Ryan Reynolds has done with Wrexham in Wales, a lot of North American celebrities want to continue the craze of owning/being a shareholder of a British team. Despite the unlikelihood of Reese Witherspoon getting any kind of shares with the club, Arsenal can use Reese Witherspoon for networking and for advertisement purposes and to make the Arsenal brand grow much stronger.
