As per Jack Rosser on Twitter, Thomas Partey is expected to be fit for Arsenal’s next game against Everton on the 4th February.
The player felt discomfort in his ribs and had to come off at half-time in the defeat to Manchester City yesterday. He had an MRI scan today & initial tests have shown no serious injury.
It doesn’t change the fact Arsenal are desperate to bring in a central midfielder during the remaining days on the window, however this will be a huge boost to Mikel Arteta as Thomas Partey is a huge reason his side sit top of the Premier League so far this season.
Arsenal will still want midfield cover, but initial checks have shown that Thomas Partey’s injury is not a serious one.
Will be assessed further in the coming days but expectation is he’ll be fit for Everton. #AFC

Yesterday Arsenal had a £60m opening offer for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo rejected. However things have progressed since then & the player has since handed in a transfer request and been told by the club to not turn up to training until he gets his head straight.
