Declan Rice has arguably been the biggest topic of the summer transfer season so far, especially for Arsenal.
Several top Premier League clubs have shown an interest in signing the West Ham captain but it appears Arsenal are set to win the race for their number one target this summer. Arsenal remain in advanced negotiations with West Ham over the transfer of Declan Rice.
Arsenal had two bids rejected for the West Ham captain until they produced a third offer of £105million in total which will see Declan Rice become the most expensive British player of all-time. West Ham have accepted the overall fee, however discussions are still ongoing regarding the payment structure of the deal.
Rice has been a target for Arsenal since the January winter transfer window and with the Gunners close to an agreement with West Ham, the club want the deal wrapped up before they head on their pre-season tour in mid-July.
