Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko has questioned the FA over the written warning he received following the Gunners’ 2-1 win over Fulham in August.

Arsenal won their first three games of the season, after beating Crystal Palace, Leicester & Bournemouth & were looking to extend that run against Fulham at the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta’s side managed to do just that, with a last minute goal from Gabriel who netted from a corner brought jubilant scenes at the Emirates Stadium.

Even at such an early stage of the season, there was a new sense of belief at Arsenal which hasn’t been present for many years, represented by the celebrations.

Zinchenko ran from the bench, all the way to the corner flag to celebrate with the goal scorer, Gabriel. He might have been new to the club, as he only joined in the summer, but his passion showed he already knew what it meant to play for Arsenal.

However the FA sent him a letter warning him over his conduct and, as per the Daily Telegraph, the Ukraine international went on to apologise for his actions.

Now, he has addressed the incident in a new interview.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Zinchenko stated that he did not understand the reaction to his celebrations…

“We are not robots, we are human beings. We’re just doing our job and when this job is successful, why are we not allowed to celebrate? I don’t understand.

Of course we didn’t win the Premier League yet and there are still a lot of games to play. But every single game in the Premier League is so tough… that’s why we celebrate.”

Arsenal are currently eight points clear at the top of the Premier League ahead of second-placed Manchester City and are aiming to win their first Premier League title in 19 years.

If Arsenal manage to keep winning then I’m sure we’re going to see a lot more celebrating to come…
