According to a new report via Football Insider, Arsenal are confident that talks over a new deal are making good progress and Bukayo Saka will sign a new long-term contract very soon.
Bukayo Saka’s current contract comes to an end in 2024 and Arsenal are desperate to get their number seven signed up to a new deal as soon as possible.
At the start of the new year it was reported one of Arsenal’s main priorites was to get Bukayo Saka to put pen to paper to a new long-term contract and it looks like the Gunners are getting closer to getting that completed.
The Gunners have been keen on keeping the England star and have been in talks with his entourage for months.
Bukayo Saka has started every Premier League game for Mikel Arteta’s side so far this season, scoring seven goals and getting eight assists in 21 games.
The way he’s reacted since missing the penalty for England in the Euro 2020 finals is nothing short of remarkable & at only 21 years of age, he’s regarded as one of the most promising players on the planet, which explains why Arsenal are so keen to keep hold of him.
Once Bukayo Saka finally does put pen to paper, he’s expected to become one of the highest paid players at the club & taking into account his current form, it’s absolutely deserved.
