The German has had a mixed start to life in North London, however his performances so far in the Champions League provide hope that it will eventually click for him in Mikel Arteta’s midfield.

When asked if Arsenal fans will get to see the best of Havertz in the Champions League because he has already won it, Arteta said: “That’s certainly one of the reasons, plus quality and the number of things he has already done in his career at his age.

“And then, to improve the starting XI as well because he has tremendous quality, and that is going to help us to be better.”

Kai Havertz has definitely improved over the last few games for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta is convinced he can be the player to help the Gunners go far in the Champions League this season. The German is one of few players at the club who has UCL experience already under his belt, along with the likes or Jorginho and Thomas Partey.
