With Bayern Munich posing a formidable challenge, Arsenal will undoubtedly benefit from any insights and advice garnered from Alonso and Xhaka’s experiences. McNicholas indicated that a conversation between Arteta and the two former players is likely, given Leverkusen’s convincing triumph over Bayern.

McNicholas commented during an Arsecast Extra interview when asked if Arteta might seek advice from Alonso and Xhaka on how to beat Bayern: “They beat them comfortably, so I’m sure there will be a conversation.”

While Arsenal may be considered underdogs in the Champions League, their recent performance against FC Porto showcased their ability to break down defensively organized opponents.
