Arsenal are set to travel to Germany and the United States for their pre-season tour next month, and Mikel Arteta has decided to give one Arsenal teenager an opportunity.
All the talk is on transfers right now with Mikel Arteta heavily involved in who Arsenal will bring in this summer, however he’s also working on the best way to prepare his team for the 2023/24 campaign.
According to Chris Wheatley, Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand is set to get an opportunity to impress the Arsenal boss next month during pre-season.
The 19-year-old was released from Feyenoord’s academy in 2020 when Arsenal picked him up on a free transfer. More recently the Dutch International went on loan to Hull City for the 2022/23 season, however due to constant injuries he returned to Arsenal without making a single appearance while on loan.
Salah-Eddine is now back at Arsenal and fully fit ahead of next season with Mikel Arteta set to give the player a chance to impress in pre-season next month.
Chris Wheatley on Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand: “Mikel Arteta is keen on involving Salah-Eddine in Arsenal’s pre-season plans.”
The talented 19-year-old is currently recovering from injury. Initial plan is for Salah to be part of the full pre-season squad before going out on loan again for the 2023/24 campaign.”
Salah-Eddine is a versatile attacker who can play on either wing or through the middle. We all know how much Mikel Arteta values versatility, reason why the Gunners are interested in bringing in Kai Havertz this summer, so it will be interesting to see what the futures holds for the 19-year-old.
