Matt Turner has heaped praise on arguably Arsenal’s most important player this season, Bukayo Saka after the winger has had an incredible campaign so far.

Bukayo Saka was the first player to reach double figures for both goals & assists this season in the Premier League and is currently sitting on 12 goals & 10 assists for Arsenal in 30 appearances this season.

The 21-year-old has already made over 170 appearances for the Gunners since making his debut under Unai Emery in 2018. He’s come a long way in the Arsenal squad from starting out as a make shift left-back to becoming one of the Premier League’s best players.

The forward is expected to sign a new contract in north London very soon which will make him one of the best-paid figures at the club.

This season has been Saka’s best by far with 23 goal contributions in 40 games. Alongside his contribution for the Gunners in England, Saka also played a key part in England’s run to the quarter-final in the Qatar World Cup by scoring three goals in four appearances.

It isn’t just Saka’s on-field quality that has been noticed this season with his humble but strong mentality a key reason why the young England International is a fan-favourite across the league.

Teammate, Matt Turner has praised the 21-year-old’s mentality in training.
