Martin Odegaard has sent a message to the Arsenal fans ahead of pre-season.
Arsenal are set to begin pre-season ahead of the 2023/24 campaign this weekend as they fly to Germany to take on FC Nurnberg in their first game of preparation.
Arsenal’s captain, Martin Odegaard joined up with Norway on international duty after the Premier League season ended in August. He’s been given a longer break because of that but is expected back at London Colney this weekend ahead of the squad flying to Germany early next week.
The Norwegian has indicated he’s ready to get back to it now after his summer break with his recent Instagram post stating “recharged” as he heads back to London this weekend.

Martin Odegaard had an amazing 2022/23 campaign for Arsenal. He the was the highest scoring midfielder in the league last season with 15 goals but that isn’t enough for the 24-year-old as he has said he wants to score more goals during the 2023/24 campaign.
Martin Odegaard’s message to the Arsenal fans ahead of next season: “Last season we had a difficult end when we dropped out of the Champions League. But we used that anger and came back stronger this year, and we need to do the same thing again.
“We could have won the league, so let’s use this disappointment in a good way, learn from it and make sure it doesn’t happen the same next season.”
After the signings of Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber for a total spend of around £200million, Arsenal will be looking to go one better next season and win their first league title in 20 years.
